Bronxville Diner, 112 Kraft Ave., Bronxville: Highlights here include eight ways to get waffles such as Supreme with peaches and cream as well as 11 various stacks of pancakes.

"(A) spectacular diner with a spectacularly accommodating staff and a fun 1950s vibe. Both times I have been here, these guys knocked it outta the park. Their brunch items are great, omelets, Benedicts, pancakes, were all perfect," posted Chris H. of Manhattan on Yelp.

Thornwood Coach Diner, 50 Kensico Road,  Thornwood: Steak and eggs,  Belgian waffles, and 18 ways to order a three-egg omelet are good choices here.

Kelsey A., of Somers, posted on Yelp, "I've been to a lot of diners, but this is by far the best (all caps) diner in Westchester. Not only are the prices much more reasonable than other local diners, (staff) is so friendly and the food always comes out delicious and hot."

Pondfield Cafe,  3 Pondfield Road, Yonkers: A half-century old luncheonette where locals go for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, or dinner on Thursdays.

"Here, the individual ingredients are prepared, then the egg is skillfully cooked in a paper-thin layer before adding the other ingredients to be beautifully folded inside the lovely egg wrap," explains a Yelp post by beke d. of New York, New York.

Beehive Restaurant, 30 Old Route 22, Armonk: A casual, family-style eatery often busy with lots on the menu.

"The Beehive restaurant in Armonk. Best omelets, in-house baked goods, gluten-free toast option. Be prepared to wait if you get there during peak times," said Paula Kurth of Chappaqua, on Facebook.

Auray Gourmet, 144 Larchmont Ave., Larchmont: A breakfast and lunch spot that was founded as a cheese shop and named for Auray in Brittany, France. The restaurant has a Classic Egg Sandwich with Cabot cheese, bacon, and tomato on a brioche roll on the menu.

Davina D., of Manhattan, said on Yelp, "Cute spot- food was really good and they had a couple of hard to get French cookies at the counter. My husband had an omelet and said it was great. I had a sugar crepe and it was delicious. The place was kid-friendly and had some nice outside seating for those nice warm sunny days."
